Built for the people (volunteers, staff and board members) who are responsible for overseeing your organization's fiscal health. We will review how to read financial statements and reports, what reports should be reviewed by the ED, which should be reviewed by the Finance Committee and which should be shared with the board on a regular basis (and define what "regular" means), what a finance committee should be discussing and what policies should be in place.

This interactive workshop will provide an overview of:    

  • Nonprofit Fiscal Responsibilities
  • Basic Internal Controls
  • Signs, Symptoms and Risk Factors
  • Expectations of the Executive Director in financial management and oversight
