This mini conference is for new grant writers looking to improve your success and for seasoned grant writers to be reminded of tips and tricks. This virtual conference will provide the basic overview of the grant writing process, building relationships with funders and how to find and submit applications for government grants. Come learn from and listen to the experts.

Speakers -

Carolyn Bloodworth, Executive Director of Corporate Giving at Consumers Energy/CMS Energy at Consumers Energy, will present Lessons from the Front Line, exploring the do's and don’ts of how to build and nurture relationships with your funders.

Brenda Pilgrim, Planning and Development Director at Community Action Agency for Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee, will share her extensive knowledge of federal funding and success strategies to navigate these complex and often times scary funding sources.

Regina Pinney, Executive Director of Nonprofit Network, will share tips and strategies of grant writing using the Common Grant Application and attachment list as a guide.
