Michigan Food Providers Summit - Open to All - Register below!

This half-day working convening invites food access professionals, partners, and advocates from across the state of Michigan to come together to pinpoint where collective advocacy and collaboration can drive the biggest, fastest gains for our communities. Designed for food banks, pantries, mobile markets, community health and social service providers, local government staff, growers, funders, and grassroots organizers, the session centers Michigan-specific policy, funding, and system realities.

Through a facilitated panel and structured small‑group dialogue, participants will:

  • Examine current Michigan policy and funding landscapes and how they shape day‑to‑day operations.
  • Surface practical, place‑based opportunities for coordination and improvement.
  • Coalesce around a small set of high‑impact priorities and near‑term actions.

Attendees are expected to engage actively, reflecting on what’s working, what isn’t, and what realistic, achievable next steps look like in practice. This convening emphasizes action‑ready outcomes over abstract planning: focused on what we can do now and in the coming months to strengthen food access across our Michigan communities.
