BOOKED FULL for 2023 What is a capital campaign? A capital campaign, by bloomerang definition, is an intense effort on the part of a nonprofit organization to raise significant dollars in a specified period of time. Usually the money raised is to fund acquiring or renovating a building, but often the campaign’s focus is on building an endowment for the future. If your organization is thinking about planning for a capital campaign this course is for you. The Benefits: Appropriate for: Executive Directors, Development Directors, and leadership volunteers who have had a minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience including one-on-one asks of individual donors, successful experience with and infrastructure for collecting and stewarding annual gifts, major gifts, corporate gifts and preferably solicitation of planned gifts. Capital Campaign Courses will be created with a minimum of 6 and no more than 8 people in different locations and consists of 12 virtual sessions held over a 6 - 8 month period. Each session will last 2 hours with the exception of the first (90 minutes) and the final (60 minutes). Participants commit to working on homework between meetings and materials will be provided unless otherwise noted in the syllabus. 2023 Capital Campaign Course Schedule
