Thursday, May 15, 2025, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM EDT
Category: ACEs
This is an Advanced Session - "What to do now that we know about ACEs" Once we understand Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) - potentially traumatic events that occur during childhood - we must consider how we can respond. This course will explore the prevention of ACEs through small group work in our respective areas of expertise, including our roles as community members. Together, we will develop both personal and professional actionable steps that we can take to address this important issue. Session: Thursday May 15, 2025 - 9 AM until Noon on Zoom (These sessions are not recorded to allow a safe space for sharing) Understanding ACEs can help children and adults thrive. This presentation requires a pre-requisite of Adverse Childhood Experiences Trauma Training which educates on ACEs and how each of us can make a difference moving forward and educates on how ACEs affect our population. **Please be advised: We would like everyone to be aware that this session will provide education on childhood trauma. This may cause stress or trigger some memories and feelings that are difficult. Register HereContact: [email protected] |
