Focusing and developing a healthy culture, effective communication strategies, and an environment where we can hold one another accountable, work efficiently and effectively is critical. This session will discuss how to develop and sustain a culture in which your team and organization can thrive in addition to staying legally compliant with basic federal and state regulations and trends, changes, and the current best practices will be discussed. If you are not employing paid staff, these same tenets, and tools work with volunteers. Being good leaders, a good boss - a good employer - is a critical component to a nonprofit's sustainability. We require good people to meet our mission - people with passion, commitment, and dedication. This session will provide participants with working knowledge of the following:
